FDIC Information
The FDIC—short for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation—is an independent agency of the United States government. FDIC insurance is backed by the full faith and credit of the United States government.

FDIC Transaction Account Guarantee Program
Flora Bank & Trust is participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program.
Under that program, through December 31, 2010, all non-interest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account.
North Clay Banking Center is a branch of Flora Bank & Trust, therefore deposits are not separately FDIC insured.
Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.
